Nova-Occitania issued its firsts banknotes

The first series of the Occitanian Diner was uncover today on July 7th of 2019. Its theme is the heroes of aviation. Six characters are represented, in a parity format. The characters come from 3 countries (France, United States and Spain). Each value is issued in a different language, these 5 languages being the most spoken languages of Nova-Occitania. In a simple style, the notes were made quickly after the political recovery of the Occitanian micronation. Other items (serial number, signature) are added at the time of printing.

Who are the characters ?

Abbas Ibn Farnas - Andalusian inventor, made one of the first attempts at flying in an basic aircraft

Clément Ader - French inventor and engineer, one of theaviation pioneer 

Harriet Quimby - American aviator, first woman to gain a pilot's license in the United States

Jean Mermoz - French aviator, one of the pilots of the Aeropostale lines, brings letters from Europe to South America via French Africa

Hélène Boucher - French pilot, set several women's world speed records, including one which was also a world record for either sex

Amelia Earhart ​- American aviation pioneer, was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
