The Union of Nova-Occitania, more commonly known as Nova-Occitania, located all around Western Europe, in the Midi, Iberian Peninsula and British Isles.
Nova-Occitania was established by a declaration of sovereignty as a successor state of the Popular Union of Occitania after it's dissolution on October 2018.
The micronation is an asymmetric federation, it means that the federal states (calls constituent territories) have more or less autonomy, depending of theirs autonomy statutes. . Power is exercised by a President/Prime Minister duo. The first is elected directly by the people and exercises its prerogatives, the second is the leader of the legislative majority, together they create the government. The parliament, the Amassada is the unicameral national legislature of Occitania, it passes all laws, write and amended the constitution and supervises the work of the government.
